What’s been happening:

I still love to cook and was lucky enough to be selected as one of the 100 finalists in the 2006 Pillsbury Bake-Off. It was a wonderful experience that I will cherish forever. And, I was especially grateful to be able to share the experience with my parents because my father passed away a few months later. The economy has been tough on my work life -- holding down two part-time jobs right now (and very grateful to have them). I'm keeping a positive attitude by keeping myself busy with volunteer activities (Publicity Chair for the DFRC Blue-Gold All*Star Football Game -- check us out at www.dfrcfoundation.org and my church's Fall Festival -- co chair of the bake sale, of course) and spending time with family (Mom, Paul & Danielle (brother and sister-in-law), Abbie & Ben (niece and nephew) and many friends. I have faith that everything happens for a reason and that all will work out for the best in the end. Go Blue!
